After two and a half years in Cambodia, we went to Subang Jaya, Malaysia to give birth to our second child, Cassia.

Upon our return to Cambodia, we moved to Kompong Cham, a provincial town about 3 hours away from the capital. There Danny served as an expatriate advisor to the 14 national staff that make up Sunrise / InnerCHANGE Kompong Cham City.

The beautiful scenery made up for the lack of stuff to do...almost.

A typical neighborhood about 1 mile outside of Kompong Cham City.

Kompong Cham is named after the "Cham", a Muslim ethnic group that populates the area. Though most of Cambodia is Buddhist, Kompong Cham has many Muslims and Christians as well.
